This Privacy Policy explains how Alhumeri Partners Group collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use APG Global Corridor. 2.1 Registration Data

When you register as a member we collect: full name, email address, phone number, country and city of residence, company name, job title, industry, professional biography, LinkedIn profile URL, and profile photograph.

2.2 Account Data

Authentication credentials (stored securely via Supabase Auth), selected investment corridors, privacy preferences, subscription tier, and membership status.

2.3 Usage Data

Platform activity including pages visited, introduction requests made, documents uploaded, and newsletter interactions. This data is collected via Google Analytics 4 and our internal analytics systems.

2.4 Payment Data

Subscription payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store full bg-white border border-gray-200 rounded-xl p-6 numbers. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.

2.5 Investor Database

We maintain a database of business and investor contacts compiled from publicly available sources and partner networks. If you are in this database and have not registered, your data is held anonymously and will only be associated with your identity if you register on the platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your member account
  • To match you with relevant corridor opportunities using our AI fit scoring system
  • To facilitate introductions between members through APG Team
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe
  • To send transactional emails including registration confirmation, introduction notifications, and NDA documents
  • To send corridor newsletters and investment intelligence reports (with your consent)
  • To comply with UAE law and our legal obligations
  • To improve the platform and user experience

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to provide the platform services you have signed up for
  • Consent: Marketing communications, newsletter subscriptions, and optional data processing — you may withdraw consent at any time
  • Legitimate interest: Platform security, fraud prevention, and improving our services
  • Legal obligation: Compliance with UAE PDPL, applicable financial regulations, and anti-money laundering requirements

5. Privacy Settings and Your Control

APG Global Corridor gives you full control over your profile visibility. You may select one of four privacy settings at any time:

  • Anonymous: Your profile is visible as a member type only. Your identity is never revealed without your explicit consent.
  • Verified Members Only: Your name and company are visible to paid members. Contact details remain private.
  • On Introduction: Your details are shared only when APG Team facilitates a formal introduction, following NDA execution.
  • Public: Your full profile is visible to all platform visitors.

Regardless of your privacy setting, your contact details are never shared without your explicit consent and the execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement via DocuSign.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Supabase (database), Cloudinary (photo storage), SendGrid (email), Stripe (payments), DocuSign (e-signatures), Vercel (hosting). All are bound by data processing agreements.
  • Introduction counterparties: Only when both parties have consented and an NDA has been executed.
  • Legal requirements: When required by UAE law, court order, or regulatory authority.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, subject to the same privacy protections.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union and United States via our service providers. All international transfers are conducted under appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions where applicable.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account closure:

  • Account data is deleted within 30 days of your request
  • Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by UAE commercial law
  • Introduction and NDA records are retained for the duration of the non-circumvention period (3 years)
  • Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely

9. Your Rights

Under UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and where applicable GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
